So i still cant convert my videos to watch with the seabyrd video converter. is anyone else having issues? also, are there any other programs for converting that might be easier? actually im looking for a program that will convert/encode from any video file(wmv, mp4, etc) to AVI ready(for the 8130).

I feel your pain. I have tried maybe 20 different products and none work right. I got one to work but the image was way too small.

BB Desktop Manager can convert for you but the file has to be either an AVI or MPEG.


The DVD ripping software should be able to rip to AVI, and then one could use the desktop manager to convert, however, the last 2 i tried froze on me and I have given up.

Why don't you try encoding your videos with mplayer?

Mplayer says input file can be anything? so it will convert and encode to avi if it was .wmv(or any other file)?

Yes. The input file can be anything. The output file is set to be avi.
