I realize that this has probably already been discussed here, but I can't seem to find it. I have an 8300 (AT&T). I used JC's instructions to get my BB to install BB Maps. All was well on that part, but when I try to run the GPS through it, I get an error that states I need my carriers permission to do so. Is this an OS issue or is there a work around?

BTW - my GPS puck works find with google maps.

The newer OSs block it. I installed the latest ATT OS, and I got the same message as you. I went back to an old OS, and that message goes away; however, it still does not fully work. I will plot your location and path, but it will not give your directions/routes. It always states, "cannot calculate route".
