Default Allow phone, but no email?

Please Login to Remove!

We recently let an employee go, but the boss said he could still use his phone for 2 weeks. Is there a way to turn off email and such, but still allow the user to make phone calls?

Do a remote wipe (Erase & Disable Handheld) from BlackBerry Manager.

Thanks!

I thought about the remote wipe but wasn't sure if that would still leave the phone usable.

RadHaz75,

Do i need to remove him from BES to complete it? Once the 2 weeks of phone usage is up i would like to lock the phone with a password.

You do not need to remove from BES if you plan on reactivating the device and issuing more commands.

Keep in mind... Once you wipe the device, you won't be able to set a password and lock it unless you reactivate the handheld on the BES.

This brings up an interesting point. It would be nice to have the ability to delete or manage the databases on a device like you can through the Desktop Manager. Future feature request?

If you disable the user's account in active directory, the user will no longer be able to send or receive email but the phone will still be usable. Can someone confirm that?
