Not a problem if your company has its own radio license and frequency. Use off the shelf, job radios and you're asking for these problems.

Thoose radio's still around? i thought nexel kind of replaced them seeing that they do the same thing and a phone, this is why my company went with nextel.

I'm in the land-mobile radio business, and yes these radios are going as strong as ever - particularily for jobsite construction. They can work much better than a Nextel when it comes to instant communications and structure penetration. It's also nice not having a monthly bill to pay when you own your own equipment.

The Guy i bought my nextels from was Big into it i always saw awards from Motorola, and then he just closed shop a couple of years ago. i assumed that nextel bought his frequency's ( keep in mind i am in the construction industry) and he retired.
