Default Domino BES - 2 quick questions for my propellerheads

Please Login to Remove!

Due to seeing several varied configs on BES, I am just wondering:

a) What level do you have your logging set to?

b) Do all your BES services run with the same account, or is it a split of localsystem & named user?

Either 3 or 4. When I do troubleshooting I go into the registry and set it to 6

All the same, either Local System or named user ... with the exception of the User Admin Service sometimes.

Wow, 6 - superlogging! What kind of extra info does that give?
(If it is too long to explain on a forum, don't worry...)

Not sure what it does over the standard logging (like MAGT / DISP) at 5 ... but with the user admin service it gives you the input / output of each sql command.

Collaboration and Controller use Local System. The rest under a user account.

I have all of mine set to run under a domain account. Nothing regarding the mail or BES services are running under local.

Level 3 on logging, and services use a domain service account.
