Hi. I got this from page 21 of this thread. It was just what I was looking for (kind of)
I just got a 7250 (first Blackberry ever, first post here too). I dont know if it makes a difference or not but yesterday I upgraded to 4.1. I've been playing around with the themes and really like the folder setup on the Orange theme. I'm a minimalist at heart, I despise icons on anything. I've installed a few other themes but they all have icons everywhere. Is there an easy way to get the folders that I want on a theme that I want? I'd even be happy with a list if the font was small enough, but my phone doesnt have that option (my bosses 7130 does, but mine doesnt)
The reply to the post says you have to start with a base theme. Please dont laugh but what exactly is a base theme? Is it the default theme that came on the 7250? Or by base do you mean another theme that has folders? Can someone with ZERO knowledge do this? I dont want to blow the thing up by doing something wrong.
I used the search function on this site to try and find the answer myself but if you put
folder view into the search window you get 800 results.
edit...
p.s
I'm printing the entire HOW TO thread as I type this but just because the directions SAY that something is easy, doenst mean that it actually is :(
