Hi

The point is I like the idea of a single page, where I can see all my information (calendar, missed calls, weather, etc) *without* having to press a key. I can just glance at my phone and see what I need to do.

Tirsch - I understand some people want the screen less busy, thats why BBToday has a setting for 1,2 or 3 lines of display.

Maybe I should be asking the author of BBToday to add keyboard shortcuts instead!

Regards

Shaun

Shaun,

I competely understand your point. I've added your feature request to the list of 'things to do'. I can't promise anything, but version 2 is in the works!

I guess I don't see the big deal of hitting the space key to get additional information. I love the program and have it running all the time....Great job Mark!

tirsch,

I downloaded the 1.7 release and I'm currently running 1.67 version. When I go to install the new 1.7 download it says it's a downgrade. Any suggestions?

That's curious, I just got the same message. I'm on 1.66 currently and downloaded the 1.7 version from the website. I'm going to give it a shot to upgrade it even if it says downgrade.

Ended up removing Pocketday from my BB, and re-installing the 1.7 from desktop manager... works fine

Folks,

Not sure why it says downgrade, but the OTA will always work...

http://www.crossriversystems.com/files/pd.jad

Updated:

• Corrected an issue where PocketDay wouldn’t start after re-arranging the Today screen.
• Refresh weather option now refreshes the 3-day forecast and not just the current conditions
• Changing the Stock Symbols or the Weather location now forces a refresh.
• Corrected an issue with All Day events showing up on the day before they are supposed to (in addition to the correct day) in the daily agenda view and Today screen Appointment count.
• Corrected a display issue on task due dates for the BB 7100 series devices where past due tasks in Italics were getting cut off using the default font Casual 9pt bold.
• Added more detailed error reporting on the display of events
• Corrected an issue where a event that went from morning to evening would only be shown as an AM event in the month view
Corrected an issue using the “G” (go to today) key on the month view where it wouldn’t select the current day by default

Mark,

I am afraid I have to agree with everyone. I did not get a notice that it is a downgrade, but I do show 1.671 in the about screen and 1.7 in the application listing.

Brent,

Did you use the desktop manager or OTA?

I just did the OTA and also see the earlier version on the About screen. It was correct on the download screen.

And thanks for the fixes!

All,

My appologies. For some reason even though it said it was updating, it wasn't.

I've now corrected the OTA link.

Mark,

Tried to update from the link you have here and had the same issue - shows 1.671 in the about screen. I then removed the application and reinstalled - it still shows 1.671 in the about screen and 1.7 in the application screen.

I did them all over the air.

When I installed 1.7 OTA the first time, mine two showed 1.671 in the About screen, and 1.7 when I looked in Options/Applications.

Then I simply did a second OTA install and now the About screen shows 1.7.
