Default 8310 Curve

Just got the 8310 this week and it says it takes a microSD card.
I have not found if there is a limit on the card capacity anywhere. Looking thru everything that came in the box and online and I still find no mention of it taking 2gb, 4gb, etc.

I do recall reading on some phones that an 8gb would be wasted as they would only work with up to 4gb; but I cannot track down where I saw that; so hope someone here can point me to the right information.

Thanks

8310s currently support 4gb. 8gb will fit obviously, but only 4gb will be available to you. welcome to the forums

Thanks so much; is the 4gb a limitation of the BB OS?
BTW, how do I check what version OS I have?, just scrolling thru the menu I don't see an 'about' menu jump out at me.

I just called "Canadian Computer" and they said they didn't stock microSD cards.

Anybody know of any other retailers in Canada with good deals on 4gb or 8gb microSD cards? A lot of online retailers in U.S. have great prices but the shipping costs are crazy.

Thanks.

Ok, so I think I found the site you were talking about:

Canada Computers - Your Neighbourhood Computer Store and Service Centre - PC Systems and Hardware Components, Notebooks, Electronics, and more.

They have a special cash price on the A-Data Turbo Series microSDHC Memory Card 4GB for $20.99. Haven't seen a better deal than that. I'll go check it out when I get a chance.
