LOL no ... its not. If you have high bitrate music, you should bring it down.
With the mass storage mode, to transfer music I had to:
a) Load up CDEX.
b) Convert the MP3s to 160bits and have them sent to a directory.
c) Copy the new mp3's using mass storage.
With the mass storage mode, to transfer video I had to:
a) Open a command prompt
b) Run the batch file, using mencoder to convert the video and resize.
c) Copy the new movies using mass storage.
With the new media manager, to transfer both music and video, now:
a) Open media manager.
b) Drag and drop media to my card.
How is using 3rd party programs for conversion THEN transferring to Pearl easier than just using one program to do everything? Doesn't make sense to me.
