That is a quick way of bringing up your call log, but NOT your address book.

Betcha can't do that on ur iPhone. Lol
I wasn't going to reply, but I just can't help myself...

You are right I can't do that with my iphone. Instead I just touch the browser icon!
Lol ......... Show off! :p

We did read the manual... however, if you read the entire thread you will find out that the problem was with having to reset the phone by removing and replacing the battery.

Oh, btw... thanks to everyone who helped me with the problem. Although the solution was to "hard reset" the phone, I got a lot of great tips from your posts.

I bought the phone from AT&T. Actually, I upgraded our phones. My wife had a Moto razor and I had a 1st generation iPhone.

This works if you want to make a call or text a contact. However, what if you needed to add a phone number or email address to a contact?

Weird, you wouldn't think a new phone could need to be reset like yours but who knows may have been some small glitch.

Yes you are correct. If you need to add a number or email. But if the number is in your call log you can add It. So I guess we are both right. You can access your numbers but to add contacts you must use another way.
