While I was on the phone with TMO getting my Visual Voice Mail activated, I also requested the unlock code. Got that within 48 hours and now have mine unlocked.

To use it internationally? Since the new bands are different than the AT&T bands, correct?

Bought 2 9700's the first week they came out. Went back to the T-Mo store on Sunday and they credited me $50 for each phone. Was pretty simple. Now if I could only get my phone to stop rebooting I'd really be happy.

Yes, gives me the option to use it overseas if necessary, TMO & ATT 3G bands are incompatible.

i bought mine last night. @ paramus, NJ.
i pay 50 for the phone and used the 100 mail in rebate in the store to get the accesorry pack. besides here they are saying it in radio ads. 49.99 after 100 mail in rebate, so go fight for your money
