no data plan, so I just bookmarked my email, still amazing, haha.

I am interested in a protective casing, something that (if possible) stays to the shape of the Curve, protects the screen and casing...I looked at Zagg's InivisibleSHIELD and BodyGuardz skins...

What do I want to get? What is going to prevent scratches and/or damage from reasonable drops--I don't expect a case will prevent a BB that has been chucked into the cement from getting damaged.

From what I've heard the shields and skins are pretty good especially when preventing scratches. Obviously they don't offer much protection from a drop. A case might be better for that.

I have a smoked plastic snap on case with a generic screen protector.

I have the same model as you, Trimix, do you have GPS? I'm not sure if I have GPS integrated or not...also, is the GPS service also another crappy pay service or is it free regardless of service?

No GPS in 8320. Don't need it. Use the sun for navigation. =)
