P.S. RIM, do i need to go there and show you the repeating " MultiTap" letter problem? JESUS!!!!!!!!!

I'm still going to miss out on the new features, Blah!

I have no problems with the multitap at all. Just typed a lenthy email using it to test for that bug and not one mistake. Also all my media player issues are now resolved (playing ringtones and videos). AWESOME

The multitap they're talking about is when you're dialing a phone number like 1-800-free-411. It types 1800F but when you put in the R it says 1800FFR. I didn't even know the phone would dial numbers like that until I saw someone complaining about the multitap issue. I had just looked at my old phone and saved free 411 in my phone book.

Not just dialing an alpha number but also when replying to an sms or email.

Oh, I've never had that happen to me. I don't multitap for SMS or email though. I actually hadn't tried typing the free 411 number in until just before I loaded this new OS. Why do you prefer the multitap for SMS and email?

yeah that's what I thought, I remember 1.66 having that issue when typing passwords on a webpage. I don't seem to have it now

edit: still does it for me on the phone dialpad though :( just no longer in sms/email/webpages... at least it's a step

I LOVE the TIM Zen theme! Would be perfect if it had an icon for text messages though.

OOOOh! This new OS is pretty zippy! Alot faster than I thought. And as for the alphanumeric dialing, i never do it anyways! Love the folder icons as well.
