that is a setting with your carrier, not the phone.

so for those of you not on sprint, you're saying that pictures and videos sent via mms are downloaded to your phone directly? my touch pro 2 and all other wm phones, treo's, etc for the past 2-3 years all downloaded to the phone, only the blackberries have I needed to go to the sprint website to look at them.

I am on Sprint, I use a basic Blackberry curve 8330 but I don't have to go to any website to view the MMS and videos sent to me. I just download them as I would on my PC. That may be specific to the tour.

Looks like you guys are going to have to wait a little bit longer for the 9650 or 9650x or whatever its going to be called. Rumor is that it wont be released until mid-second quarter this year.

One of my workers uses Sprint and has a Tour, his downloads just like mine. It is NOT a device issue, as I already state.

Maybe it will come with OS 6.0.............. instead of just a "Bold" device that has been out for well over a year...

I'm on the same page. Given how fast technology is changing, they're taking entirely too long with these new releases. It's been quite a while since RIM released a game-changing device, and this won't be one either.

I would have been very excited about getting this phone 6 or 7 months ago. Now I'm feeling more like this will be a convenient placeholder device until something that can actually meet more of my needs comes along.

I may actually go for the slider when it's released. I like the idea of the bigger screen with a physical keyboard. Of course, I will have to see one in person, play around with it and see if I like the form factor, keyboard, and overall feel of it. I just hope it isn't pushed out like the Storm 1 was originally.

Hopefully I can start finding extended batteries for my Curve for cheap soon lol
