I've been experimenting with hybrids recently... I have to admit it is a bit addicting. There have been a bunch of different builds for the Tour recently; all range from versions made for max battery life to versions for max browser/network speed. If you are comfortable with loading an OS on your device, and have some free time, I'd recommend it!

If I am already running 419 then I can load any hybrid for 419. Correct?

Yes any hybrid on top. Most of them are just swapping the the java folder and reloading. I just went back to MTS official .419 with Driphters 3G patch. I get better radio reception with the straight .419 over the hybrids that I've tried

Well I am finally using the MTS .419 OS and I can say it is sweet, performing perfectly, battery life has increased by about 17% over the .230 version, and I am back to a level that was on the original OS.

My only flaw was this morning where i did not get a message for a missed call, that i slept through (that could have been my fault using the wrong profile for sound but not for the missed sign not to show up).

That's a bold statement and one that I certainly am not seeing....switching back to Curve 2 until Tour 2.
