Ok, the Email accounts will show as registered. What you will need to do now is re send your service books and that will connect your Emails to your phone.
Okay call me crazy...or just very new at this whole blackberry thing...but I haven't gotten a clue what you mean by resending the service books. I got the restore bit done...and yahoo works great but now I'm having the same problem with my emails. They're all gone from my menu... Ack! Please help!

It can take upto 20 minutes. If resending the service books doesn't fix it, then call ur provider and ask them to send it. As you can tell from the previous posts, it does work...

i'm actually asking a question for my cousin... he just got a blackberry 8830 and is trying to install yahoo messenger... how do you do it? it says to save it to your desktop. when you go to save it shows a url like device/????/user (typing this from memory) is that the desktop? if so then how do you install the exe? can't find it.
