AT&T doesn't support Yahoo Messenger.

You'll probably have to do some sort of service book hack. There have been some threads on sharing service books from other users from supported carriers.

Hey all,
I had this same issue and found this thread through a Google Search. The thread never really had a resolution so I wanted to add my two cents. To make my blackberry work again, I ended up changing my password in Yahoo. Then I went over and changed the corresponding password on the blackberry setup site, then went back to Yahoo and changed my password back to the original, and went back to Blackberry and changed it back. I know this is convoluted and may be unnecessary, but it did save me a trip/call for help.

did you then resend service books and does yahoo messenger work for you now?
