Thanks, but tried 2 battery pulls, and still nothing.

Nothing here either. I figure one day, when I've long since forgotten about this failed Accuweather thingy, it will show up. Of course, by then I won't want it and will have forgotten how to get rid of it. My life will spiral out of control...

Okay, maybe it won't be that bad, but I have given up on seeing this thing show up on my phone at all.

I like weatherbug also! I signed up for web signal also, accu weather and NYT bits got the NYT thing..but not the weather. I also have a weather bookmark shortcut on my home screen(LSN mobile for Blackberry)..I really like the animated local & national radar. You can look up by zip code or by city for your weather info and animated radar. it will give you the news sports finance flight tracker lottery results horoscope and where to buy cheaper gas...if there is such an animal

Not sure if this matters, but check under options, browser push, on mine Enable Push, Enable MDS Push, and Enable WAP Push are all checked. That might be the default as I have never changed these settings on my 8830. Anyway, just trying to help.

Interesting. How well does it work? Is it updated frequently? Does the icon and text change on the home screen to reflect the current weather conditions?

It show you high and low temp. and the rain or sunny for example. it seems to update within a few minutes when you open it up. I personally like it.

Thanks, but I mean does the home screen icon update on a regular basis, on its own, without opening the web page? One of the problems I have with the older push weather is that it would only update the home screen icon twice a day. Defeats the purpose of the home screen icon changing at all, if you ask me.

Yes sorry, the high and low temp will usually stay the same bu you will get a sun if it's sunny, a cloud with rain if it's raining and a moon at night, I haven't had it that long yet.

It took so long for me because there is a tower issue in my area. But other than that I don't have a clue.

Any idea how long I should wait?

I have the indication that I am least subscribed. Just waiting for an icon

None for me it took a few days but I don't know if that was a VZW issue.
