My 9700 displays the previous caller for about half a second, then displays the right one. OS is 5.0.0.656.

Yes, it will. Make sure to follow the provided instructions - you MUST delete the vendor.xml file!!!

Thanks for the help. Did what you suggested< upgraded to .656 and seems ok so far. Need some more time on it to know for sure.
