I won't be making any new updates until next week. I know there are a few pending OS releases (8800 on O2; Red Pearl on Cingular; 4.2.1 on TIM; etc), but I'm honestly VERY busy packing and moving this weekend. I will be settled in on Monday or so.

Memory issues?? Remove vendor themes.
I have added a note in the first post about removing unused themes. With the newer devices (8100, 8300, 8800, 8830) there are issues with memory allocation. When free memory gets too low the device will begin to delete emails, sms, and call logs. This can obviously be undesirable. Some of the vendor themes are almost 1Mb in size each and can take up considerable space.
Here is my suggestion:
Remove unwanted themes by simply removing them from the java folder. The java folder contains all the .cod's that get loaded to the device. Remove the unwanted .cod's and place them into another folder somewhere. Once you've removed the themes you don't want, simply plug in the device and run through application loader. It will remove the "unrecognized modules." If you want a theme back simply put it back into the java folder and do the same.
Personally, I have removed all the themes except the TMobile zen and the today plus (downloaded from BlackberryHELP.) I even removed the TMo faves app which gets loaded with the edited .alx's (even if you're not on TMo.)
It's just another way to free up memory to assist in the quest of no more deleted call logs/emails.
Theme .cod's are listed as:
net_rim_theme_100...
net_rim_theme_102a... etc.
The numbers below are the vendor ID's for each carrier and will help you identify which themes are which:
You can safely delete any of the below vendor-numbered themes. The size listed is an average size for that carrier's theme. As you can see a couple of them are quite big.
100=Tmobile 240kb
102=AT&T 769kb
104=Sprint 17kb
105=Verizon 572kb
107=Rogers 287kb
109=Bell 194kb
114=TMo UK 243kb
115=TIM 698kb
119=Orange 635kb
120=Vodafone 624kb
125=O2 349kb
129=Telefonica 30kb
You can also safely delete TMo myfaves apps if you don't use myfaves:
net_rim_bb_media_100_five_icon_library.cod
net_rim_tmo_five.cod
I don't recommend removing the bbdimension...themes as some of the above themes need these in order to run.

If you don't see your OS listed here (there are getting to be too many to keep up with) please use this thread to edit your own .alx files. It's quite simple to do and saves you the time having to go looking through the forums.

Bump:
It's become too time consuming to keep up on all these for every OS version. However, the thread below will assist you in editing the Blackberry.alx files for themes as well as cleaning up your device to free up memory.

All the .alx attachments in this thread have been removed. For info on how to edit your own Blackberry.alx see the attached document on how to add vendor locked themes.
