Please Login to Remove!

just out of curiosity my mothers phone also has died with in 30 days but she got a palm treo much like you, but she wants to know if she can turn it in and get another model she just doesnt trust the palm treo any more it has left her high and dry.

Well, theres a good thing and bad thing to that. You can replace the device as many times as you want within 30 days if the device is defective, but claiming that CCS said so might catch you in a tight spot. Most corp locations and individual retailers can view account notes and they would see any notes made by CCS. So make sure you dont get yourself in a lie

If it is within 30 days, you should be able to exchange and pay the difference if the device is more expensive or if the device is less expensive, you will obviously receive a refund.

I agree and disagree, you really can't be accused of lieing because it would be your word vs their's if there was no notes on the computer. CS reps are lazy and rarely do they put notes or even details for that matter. I actually recorded a coversation once, had to call back and replayed the what the CS said because he hadn't noted what he said. Yeah thats me being paranoid, I think CS reps are shaddy and make false promises frequently because they are un informed!

You know you said that, and the darn thing is locking up and running VERY slow, i am going to upgrade the o/s and reload all my old stuff on to it and see if it fix's the problem! lets keep our fingers crossed

Well one of my directors got a 8700v (Vodafone UK). Arrived thurs, worked for 1 day.

no message on screen - power light red.

He is now in Canada/New York and the fcking thing also does this - won't switch on at all. IT BRAND FCKING NEW!!!

We are running a BES 4 server. Software is uptodate. It worked fine for less that 24 hrs.

He's tried removing and reseating the battery, tried an aternative battery, done both of those with/without sim card.

The only this that is over the odds - is that he has a huge contacts list.

Is the power led flashing red? If yes, than you will need to reload the firmware. Just removing the battery will not fix the problem.
