OK so what does a 2 gig IPOD cost? I dont know becuase i dont own one but im guessing 200? Even if that is over shooting think about the functions that you get with the pearl vs a IPOD. I honestly dont see the option here.

For $249.99 you can get an 8GB solid-state iPod nano, or for the same price you can get the 30GB hard-drive based iPod. If you want to be cheap about it, you can get an iPod nano with only 2GB of space for $149. Add another fifty bucks, and you can get the 4GB model. Lots to choose from, and if you don't mind losing the display you can get the 1GB shuffle for $80.

Thank you all for your input. I decided to go ahead and get the nano. I will probably also pick up some Shure e2c headphones for it after testing out how decent the OEM headphones perform. I get bored with music and change it frequently, so the 2GB Nano should be fine for me. I may just go for the 4GB since it's a great deal for only $50 more.
