Semitic language support is required if you want to be able to read Arabic or Hebrew. I have a feeling you speak neither, so feel free to delete.

POSTED A THOUSAND TIMES BUT STILL THE BEST:
PLEASE READ THIS:

__________________________________________________ ___________
Javaloader can be used to add vendor themes and to delete preloaded themes (or to add or delete any .cod file - INCLUDING Preloaded Media).

This requires javaloader.exe (click to download).

To delete a preloaded them, simply open a command prompt (start menu>run>cmd), and then type the following: "javaloader -usb erase -f XXXXXXXXX.cod" where "XXXXXXXXX.cod" is the name of the theme file you want want to delete. For example, I deleted the crappy Cingular theme on my Pearl by typing:

"javaloader -usb erase -f net_rim_theme_102_icon_240x260_b.cod"

If you have to add back a theme or other .cod file (for example the Cingular theme), copy the .cod file to the folder where javaloader.exe is, and then open a command prompt and type:

"javaloader -usb load net_rim_theme_102_icon_240x260_b.cod."

It's easy. But beware that you could seriously f%$# up your device. Deleting the Zen theme caused no problems on my 7130, but deleting the zen theme on my Pearl basically bricked the device. But, I simply added it back and everything is fine. I use the Today Theme, so I deleted the Dimension Icon Theme as well.

I also deleted the preloaded mp3 file, avi file, and all of the preloaded pictures by typing:

"javaloader -usb erase -f net_rim_bb_media_240x260_b.cod"

To delete the preloaded ringtones type:

"javaloader -usb erase -f net_rim_bb_profiles_tunes_tunebundles_tunes8700g.c od"

The preloaded media still shows in the media player files, but the files don't exist. If I click on a picture it says, for example: "Unable to display file /Device Memory/samples/pictures/accelerate.png"

In total, I freed up more than 6 MB of device memory.

I wrote a script that automates the process: New OS - Deleting Useless Files
There's a new version which I'll upload after I get back on my desktop PC.

Looks like hype to me and it gives off an "evidence eliminator" vibe. I have yet to come across an app that leaves modules behind when you remove it. When you install an app, the BlackBerry reads the jad/alx for a list of cod files to copy. When you remove it app, it reads the same list. App Loader even prompts you to delete any modules it finds existing on your BlackBerry that aren't defined anywhere.

Securely deleting files? I don't think it deletes them any differently than any other deletion method. This isn't magnetic media where you have to overwrite the disk surface with random bits in multiple passes.

Preinstalled content? There are free ways to remove it. I simply can't justify paying $15 for that app. Maybe $2.

Default My Pearl has never got slow...

however I'm a bit of a clean freak. (drilled in to me by Mom, I love her though.)

So I never let any of those things build up. I always delete each little thing as I go. I even remove the custom word list every so offten as it because ugly/messy/cluttery.

LOL

My Pearl runs like lightning compaired to every phone I've seen or tried. At work I continue to out do others.
All but one girl, but she has a pearl to!

This should be posted over in the FAQs, as well, how does it work on other devices, 8800, 8300?

it would be great having a tool to let you graphically see what you've got and what you can remove.
any idea?
