Setting the poll interval to 100 or 3000 on mine has no effect on the the duration of light staying on.

I've tried decactivating and re-activating on every selection. There is nothing that I can do to make the light stay on if plugged in. Maybe I should remove the program and re-load it, but I doubt that will work, b/c Daedalus, post#16, is experiencing the exact same thing as I am with a new 7520.

I had the same problem so I ended up going back to an older version where you just click the lightbulb to turn the light off or on and it stays on indefinitely.

I have a 7100r with OS 4.0 and it works perfectly, backlight stays on all night on external power. I'll give you my exact settings:

[x] Activate on Statrup
Poll interval (ms) 1000

[ ] On User Activity
[ ] On Remove Holster
[x] On External Power
[ ] On Time of Day:
From: 00:00
Duration (mins): 0

And then...

Thumbwheel > Save
Thumbwheel > Activate

I don't think so as I'm using a 7750 and as I mentioned earlier, mine behaves this way as well

Has anyone figured out the issue(s) with the 7520? It seems that if I go in and "futz" with the settings, like the "On Time of Day" and then deactivate, save, activate, and change the number of minutes to 100, the light will stay on for 100 minutes out of the holster. But, if I put it back into the holster and then take it back out, the light will only stay on for about 1 min. Same when power's applied, until I go in and fiddle with the settings again.

I'd love to have it work as described all the time, 'cause having to invoke "user activity" every minute is the same as pushing the regular light button.

Any ideas?
