I to might shell out for the premium version as well, especially since I am planning on taking a few classes at the start of the next year.

(Might look into a keyboard for my BlackBerry to, just because I don't want to carry a laptop around but I'll worry about that after I get enrolled )

As long as it gets approved I'll be heading to some BES training, and I plan on taking 2 IT security classes at the local college. After the training I plan on getting that BCSA (BlackBerry certified system administrator) and the Security+ from CompTIA after the 2 college classes. And if that doesn't go threw I might go for my bacherlors at ITT Tech in information security. (I've already got most of that paperwork filled out)

Everything is just getting kind of boring, I got to get my hands into something new.

Plus, My laptop has a 17 inch screen so it isn't the most portable, and it isn't the most reliable (which is why I love my BlackBerry so much, it don't brake lol). A lot of RIM's documentation is in PDF format, and I might need the spell check and word count features for class. So DTG Premium is looking like a good investment. And depending on the policy concerning laptops/electronics will depend if I go for a keyboard for my BlackBerry. (I'll probably make a post or two inquiring about the keyboard as the weeks pass)

Not to get off topic, I teach online courses through blackboard. It would be great if I was able to use my bb in lieu of a PC/laptop

I am glad to read that. I am not using the premium version, I notice the word files are retrieving considerably faster.

I did a quick google search of BlackBoard, looks like a set of online classes? If so then you might run into limitations with the BlackBerry Browser/Opera Mini.

Cool, one of co-workers used DTG with a Palm and mentions how stable it is and I haven't had any problems with the standard version on my BlackBerry. I'll probably use my "Try Premium Feature" option when I get closer to starting my classes but I really want a PDF viewer now and BeamReader is getting really Bloated again (I think back to 800+ kb). Does anyone know I try the premium features if it will give me the PDF viewer? I assume it will. (But I will find out soon enough)

How long have you been using the premium version?

Wirelessly posted (BB 11020)

Yes, once you buy the premium version you will get the option to download pdf to go. IIRC, pdf to go is about 600KB.

I've had it for several weeks now and really like it.

Options -> Advanced Options -> Application then hit the menu key and choose view modules, from there you can delete the Language modules of Doc To Go.

Default DOC to GO

When I open desktop manager & app loader, it always wants to downgrade me on Docs to Go to older version. How do I correct this?

Thanks

You must find and delete DocumentsToGo.alx
just do a quick saerch on your computer for the file or search the forums for the exact location.

Ok on that note.. Those of you that have upgraded from the AT&T supplied Docs To Go to a newer one, did any of you manage to keep that custom folder icon the app was in before?? Everytime I upgrade, the folder gets blown away and I get left with all the app icons taking up space on my screen.

Anyway to keep that folder or is it some wierd service book/install thing?

Its all down to the Theme you are using; so I would imagine it comes under "weird install thing"

The default Dimension themes will keep DTG in the cool briefcase other themes change that folder to what the theme creator set.
