Actually, I always take my BB out to clubs. Women are conditioned not to go up and talk to a guy unless they have a reason, and thinking he is cute is typically not a valid reason, however, "Is that a BlackBerry?" or "What is that?" is a really good reason to come up and talk to me. YMMV though.
