This version is no good for me either. Experiencing lots of laggyness, lots of spinning clocks on the screen (system busy), higher battery drain, etc. If I receive a message, I have to put it down for 1 or 2 minutes for it to catch up or else I might end up throwing it across the room. The previous version was much better.

Re: Latest OS: 9700 6.0.0.2391/6.0.0.543 (Multilanguage)
Just a quick update on what I have been noticing with this version. I went in to the CPU meter page and noticed the "Phone" app is constantly using 75-100% CPU usage. I looked at yesterday's CPU usage for this app and it was showing 19h35m. Holy crap! I am also now having to do a full charge twice a day. The battery is almost fully drained after 12 hours of sitting idle. Definitely something wrong here. Even if I turn off all wireless communications (including cellular), the app is still using the same amount of CPU. I'm going to see if I can go back to the previous version tomorrow to get back to normal.

Re: Latest OS: 9700 6.0.0.2391/6.0.0.543 (Multilanguage)
Hi all!
I am still trying to upgrade to 6.0.0.534. from 6.0.0.461.
When runing the loader there is no upgrade at the end. It lets me delete applications but there is no upgrade.
The desktop software shows that 5.0.0.979 and 6.0.0.534 are installed as device software but the 9700 still shows 6.0.0.461 as installed.
There is no button to install the upgrade at the desktop software.
Is there a way to force an upgrade?
I also tried to get back to OS 5 but the loader always says the software is upgraded but there is no change.
Thanks for any suggestions and regards.

Try deleting all other OS versions on your computer except the one you want to upgrade to. Then do a re-install of that OS on the computer before running loader.exe.

Thanks Howard for your reply.
I did uninstall all OS from the PC, reinstalled OS6, deleted vendor file and run loader but the only thing I can do is change applications. All done in 2 minutes. But there is no OS install option.
Regards, HArry

Thank you for posting this release. I just updated from .448 which was having intermittent issues. Looks good so far and resolved one ongoing issue I was previously having.

Do you use BIS or BES, generally a blackberry will register itself on your Wireless Carrier's services (BIS), however you may need to re-do your Enterprise Activation if your on BES.

And to the 1 post hero, It's funny how you say all your friends have had nothing but problems with their Blackberries. I've had 2 8100s, 1 8320, 1 8900, and now a 9700 and I've had no problems out of them, besides a broken screen on my 8320, which I replaced myself. People fear what they don't understand lol.

BB Boss OS Shrinker. After you've installed the OS on your computer (before updating your phone), you can run a program like this to remove things in the OS you don't need to gain more memory on your phone. With OS6 on the 9700, it's probably a good idea to use it.

Just upgraded. Used BB OS Shrinker and I'm sitting at 95mb free after a reboot and 85 now. No issues except the ones I was trying to get rid of originally. GPS doesn't work and my 9700 goes out of my home wifi range well before my girlfriends 9700 does.

Use BB Boss OS Shrinker. You'll need to reinstall OS6 again, but it will be well worth it if you're sitting with only 11mb RAM. This may help you: Shrinking your BlackBerry OS 6 with BB Boss - BerryReview
