Default SIM Card Rejected

Been using this update for a couple of weeks now. This morning my 8120 made a few calls then came up with the dreaded SIM Card Rejected message. Search here reveals some issues like this in the past, but seemed to have resolved itself. Anybody else finding this yet? T-Mobile says to stop by a store and get another SIM card. Will let you know if that works.

Default Keyboard Lightning

Can you put out the automatic lightning for the keyboard in this version? Since I've upgrade from 4.2 this isn't possible anymore.

I installed this the day it was released and just realized this... my MyFavs contact who have a different ringer than non-myfavs do not work. In other words the regular ringer will go off - it no longer creates an exception in your ringer profile automatically for myfavs contacts. What gives!?

I even went ahead and changd the ringer for each myfavs contact, saved it, changed it back to what it should be and still... nothing... it even told me the contact was updated each time. I then went a step further and refreshed my myfavs from the menu and still... nothing.

I've nver had this problem in the past with the other versions and while I know someone will tell me just to make my own exception list its still pointless to offer the custom pic and ring in the myfavs editing menu when it doesnt do it for you. I like having editing it from that rather the actual listing in my address book in case I change one.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Just installed it. Couldn't be any easier.

OfficeToGo didn't show up, but you can install it by connecting to the desktop and "adding software." On mine, it was unchecked

"The dreaded 2 message icon?"

Do you have email and sms separated? Many times messages are in the Messages list and don't show up in the separate SMS list.

Check "Saved Messages" as well.

My genius self checked the FAQ right after posting and went through all the steps it suggested, so I'm reinstalling the OS now.

The FAQ told you to reinstall the OS because you have a message indicator indicating 2 messages?

Is this the FAQ that told you to do that?

How do I reset my message counter to clear, or zero? - BlackBerryFAQ

I doubt you need to reload the OS.

You're right, it didn't help, but I seem to have a 2 emails message that will not go away. I finally got rid of them by combining my messages folders, despite having checked my emails and SMS folders all. Oh well, chalk it up to me being dumb. Thanks for all the help anyways.

You didn't check the "Messages" folder. That's where the two messages were. That's where I told you to go to begin with. Oh well, glad you found them.
