The top clip makes BB 8100 very very secure while in the holster

It comes with the sleeper function and BB 8100 can be either face in or face out.

I have a flap on my Case for the 8700 and it doesn't really bug me, I actually like it, holds extra business cards. At least this flap drops down to the bottom instead of over the top

Seidio has been producing the spring clip holsters for many blackberry devices including 7100i, 7130e, 7130C, 8700C and 8700G. The spring clip holster holds the device very securely. There is a rubber piece at the underside of the top clip . It prevents BB 8100 from scratching. It comes with the sleep function. BB 8100 can be face in and face out. It looks slim and elegant.

Just a matter of time before Pearl cases started to show up on eBay, and by that I mean specifically made for the 8100. Not a bad design.

I might cut off that flap.

Same here. If it's the same price as the set for the 7100 series, my SO and I will each be buying one the day they're available. But if we get impatient and/or the price turns out to be too much higher than existing combo cases, that leather one on eBay actually looks fairly decent even though I've never been a fan of stitched leather phone cases. Though, I do have a nice one for my sadly-underused Tapwave Zodiac.

I ordered this case for jogging/going to the gym. I held the 8100 up to some other NeXus cases at Best Buy and they are just SLIGHTYL bigger, and look like they allow access to all the right places. Fortunate coincidence. It shipped this morning. I will let you all know if it works out.

Yeah, that happened to me too. I guess they had some kind of manufacturing problem. If you contact them they will replace it for you. I am bummed I have to wait longer, but after seeing how nice it is I know it is worth the wait.
