I have the 8800 and it looks great. It looks more professional than the 8300 and the look of your phone does matter because people will look at that. Being in politics, the kind of phone you have will make an impression on people you meet. The 8800 looks more professional than the 8300 hands down. I have big fingers and I have gotten used to the tying on the 8800.

I'm just curious, you're in Austin and you're in politics, what do you do? I'm at the house...

Blackberry cool's hands-on impression of the Rogers 8300 does have comparison pics with an IPOD, 8100, 8800 and 8700.

I think If I wanted a Treo, I would go get one. I'll stick with my 8800.

Actually I prefer the 8700c over the 8300.

Are you saying this based on experience, or nothing?
Personally I think it's the best BB to date!

I love my current pearl's size, however the curve looks like the next best thing in terms of size, keys, features.

Hope it gets out soon.

Any chance of getting a couple of shots of an 8300 side by side with an 8700?

I agree with you. The size beats the 8800, and the keyboard does too from the reviews. The camera is nice, probably better than the pearl. The only thing I don't like is the grey finish (I love the pearl's shiny black).

Default The Wall Street 8800

Down here on Wall Street...the 8800 is the clear Blackberry lust. The Pearl most think is too gimicky and too "toyish". They do not allow cameras in most companies here...so the 8300 will be a no-no. Besides...with the 8800 pushing $500...it has become a status symbol among the Blackberry elite.
I walked a few blocks to lunch this afternoon and ran across 4 guys with the 8800 GPS on following directions to what was probably cafes for lunch meetings. You could hear the Telenav software chick's voice giving directions!
