For the longest time I was anti-belt clip. Then I stopped using devices with stubby antennae.

I wear jeans most of the time, so, I wear it in a horizontal neoprene pouch with a fixed clip I got a few days ago, on the left side of me bod clipped to me belt. It is very comfortable and I much prefer it to having it in my pocket. It's not a RAZR, now, is it?

If for some reason there is no belt on my person, I just carry it around in my hand. Or, when I was in Europe, I picked up this mobile phone bag with a neck strap. It's very cool. I haven't really used it since I got back. I do look a bit like a 17 year old with it around my neck. I'll have to snap pics of that and my neoprene pouch.

When I'm awake and at home, it sits on the side table by my leather recliner. When I'm asleep, it sits on the kitchen counter. Otherwise, my dog would pretend it's a bone and gnaw on it. The Blackberry must be kept safe.

My problem with in the pocket is I forget to lock it and it calls people before I realize it. I'd hate to have it call somebody and let them hear the wrong thing.

I'm right there with you plus I wouldn't want my keys and change to have their way with the body.

I keep it in the holster right next to my butt where my wallet goes. It likes to sleep there. If no belt...then either in pocket (usually mesh shorts) or hand.

RIM OEM swivel on my right hip at work. In car I put it on my dash, I have one strip on egrip ( universal black) on back and it never slides anywhere.

I now carry a separate cell phone and leave the BB in my brief case or in my car and check it several times a day. I don't use it for voice much as I don 't like it as a phone.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

I clip it to my belt or pant lining in the phenomenal Krusell flip case for the 8700 (the only functional fully protective case I've tried).

Tucked away in my pocket, wrapped in egrips material (which I cut to cover the unused headset jack) and a Screen Patronus screen protector.

I wonder if most women wear men's pj's? A lot of the women I hang with like wearing men's pj's for the same reason you stated. As an alternative, have you tried the scrubs that the folks in the medical field wear? Those are really comfortable too. I usually have my phone in the oem holster in my shirt pocket of my scrubs around the house (the scrubs usually double as pj's), otherwise it's clipped to my belt in the leather holster when I'm out of the house.

That's sad.. very sad. Socialize. Looking busy.. that's just antisocial. You have to talk to girls to meet them.

Right -- LOOKING busy. This doesn't mean you actually use it for anyhting =) I call it looking stupid. "Look at me, i have a Blackberry/cellphone/PDA on my hips! i'm cool! I'm busy! I'm important"

Put the damn thing away. I can't wait for people to start stealing them, all these waist-holster people will be in for a rude awakening when pick pockets start grabbing at them. It's easy, and I do it to my coworkers all the time to demonstrate how unsafe it is to have it in a holster.

If you see me walking down the street, unless i'm using it (and probably walking into things) you won't know I have a blackberry. I prefer it that way.

I wear my 8700 in a 7290 case on my belt, closer to my belt buckle than my left hip.
