If anyone gets any information please post so we know - as of now I will not install this app I paid for due to the issues right now. If I knew there was no site, update notifications, etc to keep customers updated aside from the problems it has I probably wouldn't have bought.

just a case where the developer released the product for sale waaaay to early it appears.

I just came here to check any updates on the forum and noticed you had sent me a private message and posted on here with some issues. I either missed your email or a spam filter caught it for some reason, doh!

I just wanted to let you know that I have working with a few people with Pearls to test out the application and work around the latest Blackberry OS release.

I also have a new version in which the software works while your phone is in the holster (and a few changes for the Pearl problems). I can send this to you if you would like, and for testing it out I will include a free copy of Scratchpad.

I'll be PMing you as well with this information. Thanks everyone!

a tab to select only just block unknown/private callers aka no caller id

because if you select this in the current version it blocks anyone who is not on the allow list

i want to still allow calls with caller id to come in but just people who block their caller id i want to block

thanks elfire.sol
also if i buy the current version do i have to pay for future upgrades or are upgrades free for LIFE?????
I have been waiting for the holster issue to be worked out myself before I purchased the program. My other big concern was being able to block the unknown/private calls on my 8700c.

It's pretty cool! Except why pay for something you can do for free with your phone? You can set an exception in your profile to mute specific numbers. Technically this is what BerryBlocker does, because you still get a missed call notification and it sends the caller to Voice Mail.

I'm looking for something that will totally deny specific numbers. I don't want to know they called and I don't want them to leave a VM.

Default HELP please.

1) "change option" now appears at the top of the menu, default selected

2) clean up UI

3) prefix (wildcard) filtering for adding numbers to your allow/deny lists. If you want to block an entire area code for example, simply enter the first few digits as it would appear on your caller ID. For example, adding "901" to your "Deny" list would block all numbers calling from the 901 area code. Adding "901555" to your deny list would block any incoming calls that begin with "901-555". Use as many prefix numbers as you like.

5) Integration into the Call log application menu. This should make it even easier to add numbers to your lists.

6) The Help menu item has been updated to reflect all these new wonderful things.

7) BES instructions are now packaged with the application.

Thanks for everyone's support so far!
I bought this product a couple of months ago. LOVE IT!. I am having a couple of issues though. For some reason, I can no longer add a number after they call. At first, I would get an 800# call (bill collector) and I could go to the menu and click on "add this number" That option is no longer there.
Also, the wild card thing isn't working either. I put 800 prefix and 515 prefix and still didn't block anything. Can you help?

Thanks.

There is a surefire way to prevent bill collectors form calling and it's not BerryBlocker . . . . .

I would also like to trial this software! Catching up on the thread...

Does it have the ability to surpress incoming calls entirely?

All you have to do is set Do Not Disturb to Yes in your profile.

One bug I've found is if you try to enter the number (000) 000-0000, which is sometimes used by solicitors, the program shortens the number to 0. Not sure if it will block.

HI there. I purchased this a couple months ago and liked it pretty well. I updated my software (7100i) yesterday and reinstalled and now the program isn't working at all. Any tips? I've emailed product support and will post anything they let me know....Thanks!

EDIT: Deleted and reinstalled twice and now it is mysteriously working again. Whatever works...
