Did people forget that T-mobile have exclusive on 8100?

You won't see it for Cingular until 12-1-2006 and after.

I just think we all wished for a "real" date. The Pearls should hit Cingular by Monday 11/27 This according to my national account manager who will place the order for me so I receive it on Tuesday 11/28. No lines not mess....

I see your in Sisters Oregon. I love your area. I was at Eagle Crest and Bend for two weeks... we have a time share there. If I did not love washington so much, I would move to Oregon in a heartbeat... great state, awesome peeps, cool, unique towns... just a little shout out!

I just got an email from my sales rep. He said he received confirmation that the Pearl will be released on Friday (December 1st) on the Cingular network. He said the cost will be $199 (I assume with new contract/renewal).

A quote from BBHUB documenting the same information for a release date of 12.1.06:

guess i should have read the above post before i posted mine....oh well...i'll leave it anyways.

so i'm browing through the phones that are available for my company to order from business.cingular.com, and i see that the Pearl is available for us to order. however....it is labeled as "PRELAUNCH BlackBerry Pearl". so i'm guessing it still hasnt necessarily been released, but they want to go ahead and take our money for it. but i guess the good news is that since they have added it as phone to order, we cant be too far away from the actual release. anyhoo...for those that are interested, our price they list for it is $229.99. which usually isnt far off from what the retail stores sell them at (with a 2 yr contract of course).

Ditto. I just ordered mine off the Premier site. No telling when it will ship, but I'll keep my eyes peeled on the "tracking" part of the site to see when it's processed.

Default Don't bother trying to call and order thru cingular premier

I already waited for over 8 mins. They don't have them in stock yet, so they are unable to place any phone orders--at least that's according to the woman with whom I spoke.

I guess I'll keep trolling the stores and calling. . . like always. . .

BTW, I'm (for some reason) unable to upgrade on the 'net, which is why I am trying to do it thru the phone. . .

Weird situation. I am able to log on to our premier account but I do not see the Pearl listed as an option. I filter the available devices to Blackberry and see the 7290, 7130c, and the 8700c. Odd????

Holy smokes! Does that mean if I want to buy one outright (no discounts), I have to pay $579? If yes, that means the 7130c is $629 and the 8700c is $749?

Ditto here. IBM Premier site doesn't have the Pearl listed.

That article shows the accessories to include a holster. I was getting ready to price one out, but it looks like I may not need to.

BTW, is the premier site order for $229 better than just getting it in the store on Friday? Does premier ship really fast? I have the same problem where the phone is not listed on my premier site yet.

I upgraded my phone and my plans with my company's discount price. The Pearl cost $229.99 + 14.95 (next day shipping).

I hope they ship it soon!!!

I am so jealous right now! :( :( :(

Does anyone know (from past releases) how long Cingular usually takes to put it on their regular site after having it on the business one?

Well... I've ordered one also. Email stated it was expected to ship in 3-5 days...

I realize we won't be able to confirm this before any of us gets one, but does anyone happen to know which version of the OS may be on them?

Just wondering since I'd like to be able to use a 2GB MicroSD card -- and want to know if the 1GB limitation from the T-mobile original version is still around or not...
