There is one theme (ONE) for the 7200 series - it is the ugly red Vodafone theme that is awful and came with their 7200 series devices. There are no other themes - NONE - for the 7200 series.

This entire thread is about 7100 themes, which could explain the title "Noob guide to installing new Themes on 7100 series".

http://www.kalkounis.com/files/Themes.zip appears to be down.

Anyone have an alternative link to a Zip that has the T-Mobile theme? One of our awesome low maintenance users just switched from a 7100t to a 7100g and doesn't like the g theme, so I thought I'd help him out.

Thanks!!!!

Default Downgrade?

Okay, so I was going to try this but when it was going to install the themes.alx file it said downgrade in the app. loader wizard. When I looked into more detail it says I have 4.0.0.198 for Vodafone and the others not installed. Now it wants to downgrade the Vodafone one to 3.8.0.115 through the themes file. Is this the corrent version on the themes file and any issues going backwards on the Vodafone theme that anyone knows about? Thanks.

Default New Themes

Hope this isn't too dumb, but do you know how I can get the theme that seems to be the T-Mobile degault on their 7100t ? Thanks very much.

Default extremely efficient

Thank you so much for creating such an efficient manner to apply the themes. I love the 7730 on my 7100. Nothing, better...

Default Call me crazy...Small Icon Theme doesn't fill the screen

I know it is small icons, but (unlike all the other themes) the small icon theme which I like the best only uses like 2/3 of the screen where the others fill up the screen and are larger. Looking at screen shots above, my icons seem even smaller. Do I have the wrong file? Under themes, this one is called "Deafult", the others are "Default (list), O2, T-mobile (which shows T-mobile in the theme) and Vodaphone.

Do I have an older file? Please let me know as I love this theme but they are just too small and would be best if they used all the real estate possible.

Thanks

Default Bump

Any others have the same issue? It does not show up like in the picture - I have an entire row and a half left below the power off icon and the bottom of the screen? Is mine messed up or is this how it is?

Default "Small Icon" size issue?

I hope you are all well. I wondered if I could ask a quick question about the Small icons theme on my 7100g.

Under themes on my phone it is called "Default". I have Cingular and use BES. I like this theme best, but in my setup, I have 6 icons on the screen vs. 5 (like in the pics above) and therefore all of the icons are REALLY small and it makes it very difficult to view. IS this the way it is supposed to be? Or do I have a wrong version? Is there a way to change it?

Skettalee, good luck. At this point there are no tools to design themes.

Unhappy Browser Service Book disappears after Theme install?

Hello,

I'm new to the 7100 series (G) and BlackBerrys in general, but thanks to everyone for putting some awesome advice and information out there. I recently installed the themes mentioned in this thread, and noticed that afterwards, my access (read: Service Book I guess?) to the browser from any of the menus seems to have disappeared?

Has anyone else had this problem, or does anyone else know how I might go about fixing it? I have rebooted the phone a few times, and also re-downloaded the Web Client Service Book just in case that might've fixed it somehow, but it did not appear to do so.

Any advice is appreciated, thanks!

Eric

PS - I resolved the issue a couple of days later. I removed the battery, reinserted it, powered back on, and a few hours later the browser came back!

I just had to replace my 7100g which I was using with the 7700 small icons theme. I have reloaded the theme on my new 7100g and it doesnt have the bluetooth icon for some reason!

Does everybody else have the bluetooth icon with their 7700 theme? Does anyone know how I can get my bluetooth icon back?

Once you pair up a device the BT icon will reappear.
