Working beautifully for me for about a week now. Definitely noticing increased battery life. Also very solid lock onto AT&T's 3G signal, and device stability in general. So far, this is the best update I have done (and I pretty much do them all).

I'm getting an error when downloading, saying it wont save. Is there another source?

Hi,

I can't seem to download it, it gets so far, about 19.4mb, and crashes, is there anywhere else other than Blackberry.com I can download it from?

My operator is O2 UK.

D/L'd and completed in less then 25 minutes. Just did it so I'm not sure about battery life yet but I'ma crossin my fingers. It did boot much faster then .190 which was what I've been running for months.

Nice so far.

Used this for over a week, no problems. Except, my backlight stays on at 100% all the time. I have it set for 20% and timeout at 20 sec. Any suggestions?

I did find something that I don't like. The browser wont let you set your own homepage (as far as I can find and I'm no pro trust me), And when you're in the browser and you click the goto option from the BB button, there isn't a search bar in that options list, only a list of fav's and an address bar... lame.

This is where you would find the vendor.xml file to delete. Also within this folder, you will see Loader.exe. Try running the upgrade using that.
That folder doesn't come up for me...

The following folders come up: 1033, Documentation, Help, Images, IS71 Action Engine, IS71 Connectors, IS71 Desktop Setup, Template

No Apploader folder there :-\

you missed out going into COMMON FILES.
The folders you are seeing are under PROGRAM FILES\REsearch in motion

PROGRAM FILES - COMMON FILES - RESEARCH IN MOTION - APPLOADER

*sigh*

Downloaded, and I guess it's working fine. Though I was hoping it'd resolve this issue I had with Blackberry Messenger, where it randomly reorganizes my contacts out of alphabetical order for no reason at all. Didn't help, but we'll see if any other changes are there

Yeah, not fixing the problem I had + uncaught exceptions every time I turn on the berry + my TweetGenius not working with this = downgraded. I know *how* to downgrade, but where can I find the AT&T version straight from them?

The search bar came back after about 25 or 30 hours AND, a bunch of junk download icons like scrabble and tetris came with it.

My carrier just launched the version I already have on my Bold.. Shall I replace it or there will be no changes? Is there any way, my carrier's release to include any additional applications or features?
