Can I ask a stupid question? I downloaded the plazmic theme builder and the blackberry device simulator. The thing is that i have no clue how to use either of them. I have been looking around and can't find a "manual." Can someone give me some guidance? I know it is a lot of work. I just didn't want to open another thread on themes!

It will give you a good start on things.

I am trying to imitate the 8700 series with a "transparent banner." so in plazmic theme builder i select a background and then, a background mask that will make the phone not having a banner per say. The thing is that keeps telling me that the homescreen resource size is over 60kb and i don't know what to do. The thing is that between teh background and background mask is not even 50kb. I guess, i don't understand what resource is all about. Checked the user guides but nothing. Any suggestions?

For a quick fix here is the clear banner and clear home_screen mask. Try these for your banner issues. 87xx device only

Thank you, but for some reason i can't open them. I have seen they are 8700 size i think. I have the 7290.
