It is located on the C: drive of your PC. Search for it and delete it.

I gotta say, I'm satisfied with this O2 release, upgraded yesterday and have had no problems. Only thing I don't really like, but will get used to, is the auto-dim fiasco. Other than that it's great.

It would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Cheers. Just got back from the office myself...

It's downloading now (veeeery slowly) - I understand the vendor file (I did this to change from Tmob to rogers) but why the alx file? What does that do?

Wouldn't it make sense to have the latest OS stickied with a link to the most common questions in the OP (alx, os-how-to, etc) - even if the OP has to be edited by the mods to include?

Something like this?

http://www.blackberryforums.com/rim-...downloads.html

It gets updated frequently - can't guarantee everytime a carrier issues a new version that it makes it there immediately.

Sure NJ, but on the page you linked there is no indication to the OS for each BB. That makes a good spot to point folks for the faq type questions, but it would be swell to have the latest OS for the 8100 stuck in this forum channel so it is easy to find for everyone.

Even better, would be a single locked thread that only the mods could post in with a link to the latest OS.. Then everyone could subscribe to the thread and get a notification when they are released.....

...just thinking out loud here.

Jibi does a pretty good job of keeping this thread updated with the lastest operating systems and modified ALX files.
