I have recently upgraded to an 8700g; my biggest worry is that i am unable to transfer my contacts (400+ entries) from the 910i to the 8700g. I tried transferring via Bluetooth - it did not connect. I also tried using the cocnnection manager - but no luck.

Is there any other way i can transfer my contacts across??

You can not pair the BlackBerry to another phone to transfer contacts. The Bluetooth implementation on the BlackBerry is very limited for security reasons.

Can you transfer your contacts from your phone onto your PC? Import the contacts into your email client and then use BlackBerry Desktop Manager to sync that with your BlackBerry.

If the contacts are stored on a SIM card you can put that in the BlackBerry and transfer them directly. Go to Address Book > SIM Phone Book > Copy All.
