Please Login to Remove!

hi all-

i installed the ALX and a few themes while using 4.0. i then upgraded to 4.1 zen. how do i delete the old themes? and how do i know what modules to delete?

when i go to options-advanced-applications and look through the system software modules, the delete option wont even come up for the theme files...

thanks!

I used javaloader. First do a dir to list the modules then use it to zap them. It was the only way I found after I upgraded. There's a Zen thread around here that explains what you want to do. Do a search.

You can also go to Options, applications, advanced applications, click the wheel and choose modules, then look for the themes you want to delete and delete them that way. Have you tried unistalling them from the desktop manager?

the desktop manager wont even show "Themes" or the like in the list of programs.

also in the options-advanced options- i have checked the CORE and SYSTEM modules and have found the themes but the DELETE function is not available for them.

i have also tried javaloader -u erase FILENAME and i receive an error message that reads MODULE IN USER.

any more ideas?

Correct. They don't even show up on mine either. Go Javaloader.

Why do you want to erase them? They don't take up a lot of space and it's nice to change things up a bit (even though Zen is so damn cool).

Because they do take a ton of room. After I upgraded and installed Zen, the only ones that work are Zen and Dimension. The old 4.0 themes don't activate on my 7100g.
