Please Login to Remove!

1. no way to change this setting. as long as you have wireless reconciliation enabled it will mark read/unread to your exchange and also deletes
2. when you send using an exchange (or imap account) the sent message should show up in your sent items

So just to recap to make sure I understand this correctly...currently if you have your own email server, you can't send a notice message to the BIS to push down the new email?

That's correct. Only Yahoo email has real time email delivery to your BB.

gah! :( thats the reason why i'm moving from my treo 600. It wouldn't connect to my IMAP/Exchange servers. I wonder if I will have to get my personal BB added to the company BES. drats.

if you want instant email and your using exchange set up mail connector (if your on BIS 2.0) or redirector

both require that your computer always be on and connected to the internet. they both deliver email real time (unless your on BIS 1.8 then mail connector is every 15 mins). the downside of redirector is that you won't get attachments
