I'm trying to show some error alerts during the process to check if a database has been created succesfully or is lacking some info and needs ot be redownloaded from the server, but i'm not able to show the alert.

This is my code

After the dialog has been shown, i want for the "next" form to be showed afterwards, but not even the Status dialog is being show on screen. this is done by another thread besides the system thread, hence the eventlock

Not that much of a help but thanks.

Think i'll drop the Status dialog (even thouth i liked) and change for full Dialog, but now i'm looking for a way to do a complete buttonless dialog. Cancel and Delete keeps on being displayed on my dialog. Though i could use the cancel dialog for something, xD
