I have seen some applications of this category, but the only problem is that it never gives the live stats, all of them are 15 - 30 mins delayed. Which applications are you guys running on your blackberry? And if it is delayed, by how much? I just can't pick the right one. Any suggestions?

CNBC is "real-time" but you have to plug in your personal stocks one by one...each time.

Fox Business is delayed like 20 minutes, BUT you can set-up a personal portfolio that is available every time you visit.

Each of these have an icon for your desktop.

I, too, am looking for a real time program... with a personal portfolio option.

freerealtime Go there and search for details. Once you are a paid subscriber, you can watch your portfolios etc in real time on your BB. each refresh is only 1kb in size and very fast.

I use a very nice program called quotestream www.quotestream.com It is not free but realtime with level 2

For what its worth, I asked Ascendo Inc to incorporate into Ascendo Money (for the future), in hopes that they could have a full fledged financial solution for banking accounts, stocks, mutual funds, with real time pull. He said he would contemplate putting on the development list, with no time frame, etc,.

I use alphatrade. It gives me real time level 2 quotes, news, portfolios, etc. Not free though. I have used quotestream in the past, but am more impressed with Alphatrade. Of course, both etrade and tdameritrade both have BB apps now for account holders.

I use Quotrek. It is expensive but very good quality. It also covers commodities, which is why I haven't switched to one of the more reasonably priced services. There is apparently a new service now called Stockstream--- I've been meaning to investigate but haven't done so yet.
