Default Cannot import contacts to BB Tour

Please Login to Remove!

I am new to both Blackberries and this forum. I have a BB Tour 9630. I was trying to send my phone contacts from a Treo 755 to the BB Tour. Could not do it. The reverse (from BB Tour to the Treo) works fine. I would appreciate it if someone out there has encountered the same problem and has found the solution...Thanks!!!

Take it to any sprint store. They have a machine called cellebrite that they use, and its free.

Tragic, I have gone that route. They were of no help and did not have any suggestions on how to proceed. Sprint online tech support was not of much use either. I think there is something in the blue tooth pairing between the two devises that does not allow communication from any phone to the Blackberry Tour but I do not know how to go about overcoming it!

Sync your Treo to Outlook, then sync your Blackberry to the Outlook.

Cellebrite can tranfer contacts from ANY phone to ANY other phone, no matter which brand or carrier. This is a small machine that corporate sprint stores use every day. It can be done, and quite quickly I might add. It uses the infrared on the Treo and the Tour (sprints cable #100). Both must power on and the infrared must work on the treo and the charging port on the Tour. Bluetooth is not needed on either phone. Radioshack, Bestbuy and 3rd party sprint stores might not have it. Calling tech support won't help.

go to www.sprint.com/storelocator and call the closest store and ask if they can do it or if they have a cellebrite.

Or you can do what Kenward1 suggested and sync through outlook if you have access .
