Default Texting Issue w/8350i "RE:o" on every reply via texting

Please Login to Remove!

I tried searching for a cure to this irritating issue we have before posting.

My girlfriend has a 8350i and just last week, when she replies to my texts, I get a RE:o on my phone before the new words she is responding with. I have tried everything to find out how/why this is happening.

Anyone have any advice/insite?

Check to see if your software is up to date. If it is, i'd say back up your contacts and reset the phone. (Options, Security Options, General Settings, menu button, wipe handheld) Have you tried removing the battery and SIM for approximately 2 minutes? Never hurts...

Its important that you only back up the contacts before you reset it. If you do a full backup... you may backup the error or setting thats causing the problem.

So, calendar appointments are not important? It's okay to lose them?

It's ALWAYS best to backup ALL of your data! You can then do a selective restore. That way you still have the data if you need it.

I'm having the same problems.

It started right after Nextel had their "issues" with Blackberry Texting. I couldn't receive anything until I did the Master Radio Reset and now I have the "Re:o" issue.
