Default 9700 All The Same

Please Login to Remove!

I washed my curve 8300 yesterday and it is DOA so need to get a new phone. I might as well move to the latest and greatest. I am really leaning toward the 9700 unless someone can top it with a full querty.

Also, are all 9700's the same? I have TMobile and I read that there was a special 9700 made for TMobile 3G. What if I got an unlocked AT&T phone?

If you get an unlocked AT&T phone, you won't be able to do 3G on T-Mobile and UMA anywhere.

To me, a key feature of the T-Mobile 9700 version is the ability to do UMA or WiFi calling. You can only do that with a T-Mobile branded version of the 9700.

Thanks... Is there a different model number or are they all 9700..

Example, the 8300 had the 8310, 8320 and 8330.

They're all 9700's.
