Exclamation Incorrect network shown

Please Login to Remove!

On the home screen since upgrading from OS app 5.0.0.604 plat 6.2.0.36, my BB shows the network of the sim card even when I am roaming. This happens with every OS since the above version all the way through 5.0.0.972. Does anyone have any insight into this?

This directly affects if the device understands if it is roaming should I wish to disable data while roaming, etc.

It should display an icon next to the network name (purple triangle I believe) to show its roaming.

it should normally write the name of the network it using, that is not normal, normally i know which network i'm using when i'm outside my home network, for exemple in the states or overseas, have you tried downgrading to the official tmo version of the blackberry OS,see if it work, if it dosen't go see your phone provider (call or visit a store near you) to see what the problem is. sorry hope your phone works

The device is from Bell with a TMO sim in it. There seems something off with TMO sims, since when I put an Orange sim it shows as roaming. I have alrady swapped to a new sim.

This is a Bell device, so there is no TMO version. Also, TMO hasn't come out with this device. As I said in the first post, since a specific OS build this issue has turned up.
