OS 5.0 release from AT&T -- when ?

With Verizon releasing OS 5.0 for the Storm, any ideas when AT&T will officially release OS 5.x for the Bold 9000 ?
Or would any other carrier be releasing it soon ?

When it's ready and when it's been released by RIM and AT&T has satisfactorily tested it. No one knows when, but clearly, we are closer to it than we have ever been.

A colleague of mine upgraded her phone on the 26th. apparently it hosed several of her apps including bbm, facebook and even BB application world!
Hope ATT makes sure it is a solid release before setting it free...

Nobody knows when os 5.0 will be coming out for the bold, it'll come out when it comes out.

I would think since the 9700 is shipping with 5.0 and its coming out... around Nov. 7th? Then 5.0 for 9000 should be out too.

Why would you think that? One device has nothing to do with the other.
I have no expectations of OS 5.0 on the 9000 or 8900 next week.

Absolutely right...nobody knows for sure, or at least nobody that will leak it on a public internet forum.
Personally, I believe AT&T will drop the "official" 5.0 OS after the 9700 Onyx release simply to maximize the retail impact of that BlackBerry. Face it...if they released 5.0 before, too many people might be satisfied to just update their current Bold 9000 operating system, and not upgrade to the 9700 Bold2.
