I have had my torch for a few months and have been very happy with it.

Now, I have not had a change to back it up recently. But today i'd noticed. earlier text messages i had stored on the phone have seemed to have vanished! :-s. They are listed but under the green text icon and when you click on them. The fields are blank, no thread, nothing. Whats happened to those messages!??? :( these were quite important. Any way of retrieving them?. Ive not changed any settings. Regularly clear unwanted messages. Don't understand what's happened here. Can anyone advise?

I know there were issues with my old bold where i kept loosing messages. But i wasnt expecting this from the torch!. Help!..

I don't remember ever losing a text message on any Blackberry, although I rarely look at old ones so I might not notice if I did.

Have you tried doing a search for something you know is in one of the texts?

yes, ive tried searching under name etc. They are all gone!. Like, for each date there is like a green text symbol (like when you have something saved but not sent) but every single one of those is a blank message!. :( i dont understand why everything is suddenly gone!. I looked at the messages literally only 2 days before!..

Has no one else had this problem?..or more importantly..how do i retrieve those old messages!??
