I'm a BB newb, so please forgive my ignorance.

I have a BES account, and the mail is coming in just fine. I also have gmail setup on the BB, and it comes in to messages too. I have an icon on the BB desktop for gmail, and if I click on it, only gmail messages are displayed.

How can I make it so the gmail messages stay only in the gmail icon or don't get put in with my BES messages?

Sorry, but you can't do what your asking. I know it sucks, but your only alternative is to create a custom search to show a filtered view of your inbox.
