Alright, this is driving me nuts. I install BBWeather and after installation I go to menu -> bbweather -> enter :

error: no profile selected blah blah blah then it hangs my Pearl

It does not matter if i install this through DM or OTA - still shows the same result.

Occasionally I will get a java.lang.error as well.

Someone, please help me out with this. I have heard others have this working fine and cannot figure out my problem. I have my tcp setup correctly. The only thing I can think of is that is you are not using BES you need to disable the proxy. Well, where the heck do you do that on the Pearl cause I don't see that option. I am not using the Pearl through my company or anything.

Unfortunately, I have the same issue. This was one of my favorite programs on previous devices, but does not seem to work on the new OS. Also, I believe development stopped on this a long time ago, so don't expect any updates... bummer.

Works like a champ on my 8100. BES.. Hangs on my wife's 8100. BIS.. Maybe that's it. I don't know. But it does work on my 8100.

That might be it then as I am not using BES. Go figure there is no way around it.

Catch-22. It hangs before you can add a profile.

Maybe it's possible to load a profile from another device using javaloader?

Seriously, why is there not a default profile added when you install this? It would make sense to do that then you could just add what you want and delete the default.

Working fine for me so far on my 8100 tmobile BIS. Had to select disable MDS under options and it worked fine. YMMV?

My profile is set to my zip code here in rainy NYC.

It's free, open source software. Anyone can modify it to do just that. It is not "officially" supported.

Anyone care to send me over a profile so I can get this working? I am not into the whole coding thing to make my own before I load it...
